HS: TeamSnap Boys All-America update

More than 650 fall- and winter-playing high school boys players made the cut for the Fall TeamSnap All-America Watch List, Winter TeamSnap All-America Watch List and the Spring TeamSnap All-America Watch List.

Players, through coaches recommendations and TopDrawerSoccer staff observations, will be added each week to the list as performances warrant. The only players that will be removed from the list will be athletes who are no longer playing high school soccer or sustain a season-ending injury that will take them out of all-state consideration.

The TeamSnap All-America teams are not announced until the end of the school year.

Here are recent performances and updates from players on the TeamSnap All-America Watch Lists:

BOYS

* F Dominic Bair, [Edison ca-m] (Calif.), Sr.: Bair's 18 goals was good enough for third in talent-heavy Orange County. He earned first-team OCVarsity honors and was the Sunet League MVP.

* Austin Bihlmeyer, Farragut (Tenn.), Sr.: The East Tennessee State signee scored twice to lead Farragut to a 3-2 victory over Christian Academy of Knoxville in a battle of state title contenders. Bihlmeyer's second goal, in the 72nd minute, proved to be the difference, breaking a 2-2 match.

* MF Carlos Flores, Lamar (Texas), Sr.: Flores recently completed regular season play as Lamar's all-time leader in goals and assists. Entering the playoffs, he had 56 goals and 67 assists.

* F Charlie Marino, Wando (S.C.), Jr.: Marino took charge of the scoring last week, netting five goals in Wando's wins over Hoover (Ala.) and Parkview (Ga.). Before the week, undefeated Wando had been sharing the scoring load as no player had more than five goals on the season.

* MF Wyatt Millard, Cardinal Newman (S.C.), Sr.: Cardinal Newman is off to a 7-0-1 start and Millard has been a driving force. The senior, who is headed to Navy, has five goals and a team-best eight assists. Newman's strong start earn the squad a spot in this week's SIMA FAB 50.

NOTE: The fall All-America watch list includes only players from high school teams that compete during the fall season. The inaugural Winter All-America watch list was released in November and includes players from the seven winter-playing states, and the inaugural Spring All-America watch list was released in February.
